Hastelloy C-22 (UNS N06022, Werkstoff 2.4602) is a Ni-Cr-Mo-W alloy engineered for aggressive, mixed-oxidizing environments. It resists pitting, crevice attack and stress-corrosion cracking in chloride-bearing media and shows excellent resistance to oxidizing acids (e.g., nitric) and wet chlorine.
