Dipti Metal Industries is your premier worldwide ASTM A182 F316 Flange Manufacturer in Mumbai, India, Global A182 F316 Supplier, Dealer, and Top A182 F316 Stockist and Exporter from India. Known as "Marine Grade" stainless steel, ASTM A182 F316 is a Molybdenum-bearing grade that provides exceptional resistance to pitting and crevice corrosion in chloride-rich environments. It is the gold standard for offshore platforms, chemical processing, and naval applications. We manufacture a comprehensive range of F316 Slip On Flanges, F316 Weld Neck Flanges, F316 Blind Flanges, and F316 Ring Type Joint (RTJ) Flanges. Available in sizes 1/2″ to 48″, pressure ratings from Class 150 to 2500. As a leading F316 Flange Manufacturer in Mumbai, we ensure 100% material traceability and compliance with global engineering standards.
Dipti Metal Industries stands as the largest global ASTM A182 F316 Manufacturer in Mumbai, India. While standard 304 stainless steel is suitable for many applications, ASTM A182 F316 is the essential upgrade for environments containing corrosive salts and industrial acids. The defining characteristic of F316 is the addition of 2.0% to 3.0% Molybdenum. This element provides superior resistance to localized corrosion—pitting and crevice attack—which is common in marine piping and desalination plants.
We supply a massive inventory as the premier F316 Flange Stockist in India. Our forged F316 components offer improved mechanical properties and better structural integrity under high pressure compared to cast alternatives. Whether you need F316 Slip On (SORF) flanges for low-pressure lines or F316 Ring Type Joint (RTJ) flanges for high-pressure oil and gas systems, our Mumbai-based forging facility produces parts that exceed ASME B16.5 and B16.47 Series A & B specifications. As a dedicated F316 Exporter from India, we provide full EN 10204 3.1 certification and support for all global third-party inspections (TPI).

Molybdenum increases the resistance of the flange to pitting and crevice corrosion, particularly in environments containing chloride ions (salts) and sulfurous acids. This is why F316 is the standard for marine applications.
F316 is an austenitic stainless steel grade, which means it is essentially non-magnetic in the annealed condition. However, it may become slightly magnetic after heavy cold working or forging, depending on the metallurgical balance.
The primary difference is carbon content. F316 allows up to 0.08% carbon, while F316L (Low Carbon) is limited to 0.03%. F316L is used to prevent sensitization during welding, but F316 offers slightly higher mechanical strength at elevated temperatures.
