Dipti Metal Industries is a specialist EN 10217-7 pipes Manufacturer and X2CrNi18-9 Pipes Manufacturer from Mumbai, India. We are a reliable 1.4306 pipes Supplier and TP304L pipes Supplier for pressure applications where post-weld heat treatment is not possible. Our primary stock is the low-carbon Grade 1.4306 (equivalent to AISI/ASTM TP304L) and is available in the fully Non-Destructive Tested Technical Condition 2 (TC2), ensuring maximum integrity. The low carbon content (max 0.03%) makes it the definitive choice for preventing weld decay in corrosive environments. As a major EN 10217-7 pipes Exporter, we offer the most competitive 304L welded pipe price per meter for your demanding piping requirements.
The European standard EN 10217-7 specifies the technical delivery conditions for welded tubes made of stainless steel for pressure purposes. For critical systems, the low-carbon 1.4306 pipes Manufacturer and X2CrNi18-9 Pipes Manufacturer production ensures materials are tested to the most stringent level.
This is the most common and stringent requirement for critical pressure applications. All weld seams must undergo Non-Destructive Testing (NDT).
Suitable for less critical applications where the full cost and time of NDT are not justified.
The EN 1.4306 grade is the European low-carbon austenitic stainless steel, engineered for superior post-welding corrosion resistance. Its chemical composition ensures the material's fitness for aggressive, welded environments. We are a reliable 1.4306 pipes Supplier and TP304L pipes Supplier globally.

The 1.4306 grade is the low-carbon version of 304, and its equivalent is highly sought after for global projects requiring superior corrosion resistance in welded piping. Dipti Metal is a renowned X2CrNi18-9 pipes Exporter.
Our 1.4306 pipes Exporter inventory is supplied with dimensions that conform to the required EN tolerances, which typically focus on the precise Outer Diameter (OD) and Wall Thickness (WT), rather than nominal bore/schedule.
| Size Range & Dimensions (Typical Stock) | |
|---|---|
| Parameter | Range / Details |
| Outer Diameter (OD) | From 6 mm up to 609.6 mm (24 inches) |
| Wall Thickness (WT) | From 0.8 mm up to 12.7 mm |
| Length | Standard 6 meters (20 ft) or fixed/cut-to-length as required. |
| Dimensional Tolerances | As per EN ISO 1127 (Dimensions, tolerances, and conventional masses per unit length). |
| Ends | Plain End (PE) or Bevelled End (BW) per EN 10253-3/4. |
We specialize in large-diameter, heavy-wall EN 10217-7 TC2 pipes for industrial projects. Specify your exact OD x WT requirement in the RFQ form.

Find answers to common questions about the EN 10217-7 standard, the 304L pipe price, and welding with 1.4306.
The 1.4306 (304L) grade has a lower carbon content (max 0.03%) than 1.4301 (max 0.07%). This makes 304L highly resistant to intergranular corrosion (weld decay) after welding, allowing it to be used in corrosive environments without a costly post-weld solution annealing heat treatment.
While 1.4306 (304L) has better post-weld corrosion resistance, the slightly higher strength 1.4301 (304) is generally preferred for very high-temperature applications where creep resistance is the main concern. However, 1.4306 is suitable for most general-to-moderate high-temperature service where it is frequently welded.
To maintain the low-carbon benefits of 1.4306 (304L) and prevent weld decay, the recommended filler metal is the corresponding low-carbon grade, typically ER308L (or 1.4316) for TIG/MIG welding.
Due to its lower carbon content, 1.4306 (304L) typically has slightly lower mechanical properties (yield and tensile strength) compared to 1.4301 (304). Both grades, however, easily meet the minimum pressure ratings specified in the EN 10217-7 standard.
