Hastelloy B-2 (UNS N10665, W.Nr 2.4617) is a nickel–molybdenum alloy optimized for strongly reducing environments such as hydrochloric, hydrobromic and sulfuric acids (without oxidants). With its very low chromium content and controlled carbon/silicon, B-2 resists localized attack and weld HAZ issues in reducing service.
